Chinese solar giant Trina Solar has welcomed the arrival of its upgraded Vertex S Aesthetic Module to Australia, where the modules are also known as the Vertex S All Black Modules.

Boasting a power output up to 425W and maximum efficiency of 21.3%, the new Vertex S All Black Module comes with a 25-year product and 25-year performance warranty.

However, it is the stylish all black aesthetic of the modules that Trina Solar is focusing on. As the company explains, the design of the Vertex S All Black Modules “is aesthetically appealing in every detail, aiming to provide customers with an enjoyable experience of high technology and aesthetics that co-exist in harmony.”

And now the all black modules are available for sale in Australia.

“We are seeing strong interest from Australian households for this product because of its performance, in terms of higher power output and efficiency, coupled with its aesthetic appeal,” said Todd Li, president of Trina Solar Asia Pacific.

“More and more Australian households are installing solar on their rooftops, so we make sure we offer a wide choice of module designs to complement various styles of roofs and help aesthetically-minded homeowners.

“Trina Solar’s Australian distributors are already promoting the Vertex S All Black modules to building architects and developers who want to showcase the aesthetical appeal of rooftop solar.”

Even the packaging for the modules keeps the all black theme, with Trina Solar boasting this is the “industry’s first scenario-based packaging solution.”

Slightly more importantly than the packaging, however, the Vertex S All Black is compatible with all mainstream optimisers, inverters, and mounting systems already available in Australia.

The modules are also designed to be low in weight, making installation easier. Used primarily for residential applications, Trina Solar claims the Vertex S All Black is also used for commercial and industrial applications.
